This book defies expectations by introducing a highly imaginative and original concept, with narration by a character who speaks an odd form of American English. Put these together with the biting satire of American society it contains and I feel this would make worthwhile but far from relaxing reading. The cover is simple but striking and fits perfectly with the theme of the book.
