I was so excited for this book, it was a concept id never heard of before but I was greatly dussapointed. From the very first page I found the book hard to read due to the language used, the authors use of combining words confused me, and having to reread chunks of text multiple times to understand what it was saying.
I found the plot line boring and the characters meant nothing to me. In fact it felt to me that the story was missing something. There was so much potential for the author to use this story to show prejudice. Instead it felt to me they were using sex and love as the only way to move up in the world.
I found myself so disconnected from the story that I chose to leave the book unfinished.
So much potential wasted although perhaps the story improves but I am not interested enough to find out.
