Ever think 'What did I just read?!' That's what is currently running through my mind after finishing this novel. I actually had very high hopes for this book, but unfortunately it really wasn't for me.
The concept was very interesting and is what drew me to the story, a world where your wealth determines your height. I'd never heard of a plot like it, it's unique and original.
The main character is Warner, he's a young man throughout the novel who is desperate to scale up, but to do so he needs more mun mun.
Sadly, I didn't appreciate the writing style of the author. I found the writing quite bizarre and so I struggled to connect with the characters.
Around a third of the way into the novel it began to feel repetitive, not the story line but the dialogue between characters was being repeated.
For some readers this might be their new favourite book, but for myself it was a slow and miserable experience.
