From reading the initial blurb of this book, I was instantly intrigued! It is such a great concept and one that seems very original to me!
I was surprised to see that this was for young adults as there is a lot of adult content in this book, but it is certainly suitable for an older young adult!
The concept of this is so fresh and unique, I found the idea that the more money you have, the bigger you are and vice versa a great premise and one I couldn't wait to explore! There are a lot of made up words in this novel, reminding me a little of A clockwork orange in that way. This didn't jar with me, I thought it was well done and after a while just felt like it fitted really well with the narrator.
It did take me a little time to get going and find my way with the novel but after the first fifty pages, I was immersed and despite being odd at times, it was compelling and enjoyable with a great message!
