Set in an alternate reality where a person's physical size is determined by their wealth, this book follows the life of Warner and his sister Prayer, 'littlepoors' with hardly any money. As littlepoors, they face dangers that are unthinkable to bigger people. Their only chance to survive is to scale up.

This book is relatable by the fact that it kind of defines society nowadays, reflecting on how the money someone has, the more powerful they get. I thought that the plot was very creative and with a unique concept. The book is written in first person from Warner, who lacks in money and struggles to survive his everyday life. Due to this, the writing style relfects on the character, the author purposely grouped words together with grammatical errors. This made it slightly hard to read but it added to the overall reading experience and made it more realistic.

I liked most of the characters - you can get a real sense of their personalities. However, the ending, was not as exciting I hoped. Without giving anything away, I wish that it could of been executed differently.

Overall, I quite really enjoyed the book. I thought that the way it was written, though somethings hard to understand, added to the overall character and style. It was humorous at times and I would definitely recommend.
