You know what you are going to get from Lynda la Plante and this doesn't disappoint. She knows her craft inside out and is what I aspire to be as an author - confident, competent and clever. The days of writing as a living seem to be over for many with the advent of indie publishing and self publishing but the heavyweights like la Plante show that it can be done if you work hard enough at it.
