I'm really really enjoying this so far. It's really reminding me of many good ITV or BBC drama series such as Endeavour, George Gently, Ashes to Ashes, and I'm loving it! I like a good old-fashioned cop and murder drama, you just can't beat them and this book promises exactly that. With Jane Tennison having just been promoted to sergeant in 1979, we see her discover the body of a woman in an alleyway, instantly throwing the reader into drama and provoking a list of questions. The book is a fairly-easy read, ideal for most ages, and appears to be a classic crime thriller - right up my alley (excuse the pun)! I'd definitely be interested to read more!
