The cover is pretty basic and doesn’t give too much away which is fine. Does not particularly grab my attention but isn’t off putting.
I have never heard of this author and it seems from other First impressions, she writes a tv show and this is part of a book series.
It was fine as a stand alone so I didn’t feel I had missed out by not reading others.
I love a crime novel but I’m not a huge fan of books set in the past. This didn’t really draw me in but it could still be a good read.
