I love a Lynda la Plante book and although this one didn’t work out to be one of my favourites it’s definitely a gripping page turner in the end.
Personally I found the start a bit slow and almost a little hard to get into at first. Some areas seemed padded out too much but what I really did enjoy is learning more about the characters and delving further into their world and goings on.
For fans of crime fiction it’s definitely a good read, incredibly well researched (that leaps from the page) and really well thought out plot wise everything comes together and ties in with twists and turns along the way. I definitely enjoyed the last two thirds more than the first. I just wish it had got going a little sooner
