I just love Jane Tennison as she is now developing into the Prime Suspect character of later books.
Murder Mile was gripping from the start and although Jane put her foot in it more than once, her tenacity shone through.
A hardworking young mum, a teacher and a wealthy older lady, what could possibly connect them?
After the first murder is discovered without any identity, police begin to think she may be a prostitute. Two murders later and an identity found for the first victim, police can't find a link between them.
Witnesses report seeing a young female visit a homeless young man at a shelter and the hunt is on to find him. Clothing found in his room link him to one of the murders but could it be all three?
He is the prime suspect in the case. But is it really him?
