I've never clicked on a book on Readers First as fast as this one! Years ago, I did a piece of history coursework on the advancement of forensic science in UK policing between the Jack the Ripper and the Yorkshire Ripper case... pleased to say I got full marks on that piece of work and have been absolutely hooked on true crime and non-fiction crime history ever since! I have devoured When the Dogs Don't Bark, a non-fiction memoir of a forensic scientist for violent crime scenes, and this book, Murder: The Biography feels very evocative of The Five! Just from the small snippet I read, I can tell this would fit very snuggly on to my crime shelf, can't wait to get my hands on it!
