I am already hooked from the introduction, aptly titled Thou Shalt Not Kill
It paves the way, carefully explaining the homicide law in the UK , where it originated, the complexities and difficulties of defining murder in the eyes of the law and unravelling stories and cases across the years that have led to the laws we currently have.

Our modern definition of murder comes from Sir Edward Coke in the 17th Century and has not really been altered since I was surprised to learn!

This frankly is a brilliant, captivating, gruesome piece of writing so far and I really want to read more!
