Definitely promises to increase my understanding of the law!

What an immediately engaging and beguiling opening chapter to what appears to be a very well-written, informative and thought provoking book. I'm quite sure that it will support the thesis that life is indeed stranger than fiction! I've always been interested in exploring what factors influence judicial decision making and how changes to the law come about as a result of individual cases. It's already clear that the author's own experience as a lawyer will add to the authenticity of her exploration of how the justice system works (or, at times, doesn't!) and how precedents come to be set so I hope I'll be fortunate enough to win a copy in the draw!
I cannot imagine how the brilliant cover design could be improved on!
