As a lover of true crime, I immediately wanted to pick this up and it has certainly kept my interest. Usually, things set so far in the past can tend to be boring if historical things are not your interest but I didn't feel that here. If they focus on the cases in detail this will be a good read but I am really curious about the strange history that seems to go with murder.
