Killing is bad ... or is it?

I have always felt disconnected from my peers, as I have never romanticised murderers. In this day and age people are likely to favour morally grey fictional characters who will kill for love, or find attractive serial murders such as Ted Bundy fascinating. This book proposes to eradicate this mentality, something that I believe is much needed. Would I continue to read this book? Yes. Would I recommend it to others? After only nineteen pages, my definite answer would be: of course.

What initially drew me in was the cover of the book - Victorian themed - it goes with the idea that thriller and detective stories were popularised in that era. Also, because this is a non-fiction book about murder written by a woman really intrigued me and I find I trust the author more because of this.
