I love the idea of these factual accounts that are stranger ( and more gruesome it seems) than fiction. The range of stories is great and the author's status as a lawyer will give an interesting insight into the cases. It sounds like there are quite a few ethical issues involved too which I'm intrigued by. Moreover there is the fascination of the bizarre, sad and scary events themselves. I'm thinking of buying it for our school library as I know a group of students it will appeal to but I will need to read all of it to make sure it's suitable!
