This book caught my eye instantly because of the cover. It’s beautifully simple and graphic. The title is short and right to the point and instantly told me this will be a non-fiction read. True crime is a genre I particularly love but I have never heard of a book like this one. The legal perspective is a breath of fresh air and I like that this book goes through the history of murder as opposed to focusing on one case. I also feel UK based cases are severely underrepresented in the genre so seeing a book focused on that is exciting. This seems like both an educational and gripping read.
