So Readable!
The description of this book immediately caught my attention. As discussed in the opening chapter, our society is and always has been interested by murder and violence and so a non-fiction book exploring the history of murder and law sounds like something so many people will be intrigued by.
The writer presents history in a way that is easily comprehended and writes in a style that is abject from academic texts. It begins with a description of a recording using creative language that places the reader in that scene.
I think this is going to a book I won't be able to put down and will also teach me a lot!
