I don't read that much non-fiction, but I love anything to do with true crime so I thought I would give it a go. It a really good overview of such a massive topic, and its a great reference book that I can always go back to. Its opened up many new cases and areas of interest for me, so it was great for expanding my horizons! I thought it was interesting how the author then tied it in to how it has changed the law in Britain throughout history. The writing style, despite it being a non-fiction book, was easy to read and it did not feel boring. It was very engaging and I loved the edition of the pictures. The book is juicy, shocking and teaches the reader a lot about the criminal justice system and the lengths that people will go to to get rid of someone. Also I love the cover! I admire the author taking such a big subject and managing to put it in a brilliant book!
