I'm never sure how to review nonfiction, it's much harder to review than fiction but I'll give it a go:

The basic summary of the book is that it explores how, why and when the law of murder has changed, specifically focusing on how certain crimes caused this.

The book is not an easy read as it is definitely filled with gory details of cases, but it's obviously impeccably researched.

A lot of the stories mention names I'm unfamiliar with, so you'll probably learn something new if you pick this book up, but there's obviously some well known as well.

The cover is good, it's a nice art style and tells you the immediate things you need to know about the book. I'm glad they didn't go in a gory fashion with the cover design.

The writing style makes it similar to a Netflix documentary, so any fans of true crime or law fiction/non-fiction should definitely give this a go.
