"Murder, the Biography" is a thought-provoking look at the history of murder in the United Kingdom, written by lawyer Kate Morgan. It is a superbly researched, and well-written book which I enjoyed very much.

This book delves into various historic murder and manslaughter cases spanning many years, and the way in which some of these cases have resulted in important changes in legislation in this country. Some obscure cases are dotted amongst those which the majority of us will have heard about, which added much interest to the book.

This book gives a fascinating insight into the history of murder without being too graphic in the process. It is full of detail and interesting facts, without being too technical to those without a legal background. The cover is eye catching and pleasing, and I would thoroughly recommend it, especially to readers of true crime books.
