Personally, I struggled with wanting to continue this book and found myself not picking it up often.
Initially, I was absolutely looking forward to reading it but I found it quite heavy in the first few chapters and I sometimes found parts were quite repetitive. On a few of the cases, I wish there was a bit more information given within the book.
On the whole, there are lots of case studies that are included and these were extremely compelling. Unfortunately, I think after reading this, I definitely prefer reading fiction as crime fact does not hold my attention the same.
This book may perhaps be a more suited read for someone who likes the law and history surrounding it. It is definitely well-researched and it gives you a fascinating look into the history of the law.
I am sure anyone who does like that sort of stuff would go nuts for this book.
