I absolutely loved this book, probably because I'm a huge fan of true crimes but also because they're told in a really unique way and looks at murder throughout history and how certain cases have paved way for changes in the law, and probably not the ones you expect to either.
It's written in really concise manner and Kate Morgan's writing style makes this book easy to follow without being bombarded with legal terminology and jargon which might put off a few people.
I was really pleased that the author had used some smaller, relatively unknown cases which kept my attention a bit more as some cases get a lot more press and some of us have heard them all before.
there are some pretty gruesome descriptions which might not be suitable for all readers, so bear that in mind if you're planning on buying this as a gift. It's not for the faint hearted!
