This book definitely had my attention, as a big thriller and 'murder mystery' lover! 'Murder: The Biography' is like no other book I have read before, and whilst it definitely wasn't a light read, it was massively interesting and I loved finding out about the history of the laws. Kate Morgan's experience and obvious passion for law is portrayed clearly throughout the book, and her knowledge is impeccable. But despite the subject being quite 'heavy', the little illustrations and somewhat light-hearted nature of Kate's writing makes the book captivating. The photographs also added an additional depth to the book.
I would recommend 'Murder: The Biography' to anyone who enjoys reading crime/thriller books, or anyone with an interest in law or murder stories! Based off of the cases which underpin murder laws, this book definitely isn't one for the faint-hearted!
