The cover itself and the title are not as striking considering the topic and at first glance looks like a diy book if not for the words murder plastered on the front. Reading the introduction though the title is accurate to what the author wishes to achieve and convey to the reader.
Murder has been around for as long as humans have been walking the earth but the book looks into how the concept was named and how laws were develop to recognise such acts as criminal and how such suspects of these acts should be punished. It also recognises the legal evolution and struggle to differentiate between what should be considered murder and manslaughter.
