From the title to the tantalising first 19 pages, I am hooked. A fascinating subject that excites the reader. An easy to follow narrative that brings the macabre to an enjoyable and educational experience. From the first page you are gripped with a desire to know where the stories are going to lead you whilst a the same time doing so with some trepidation. You want to hungrily read more and find out the facts, but doing so from behind a cushion. The front cover and the title are enticing and even though you are well aware that there are many monstrous acts that have taken place within the pages, you can’t help but want to read them from cover to cover. If you have a taste for history, crime or the macabre then I would suggest that this is the the book for you. I have only read 19 pages and yet know that it is the book for me and I can’t wait to read the rest.
