Now that's a cover to set off questions! I rather like it when you gradually realise the significance of each element to the story.
I think I will love this book, so long as we return to the characters we've met!
I haven't read any books by Sanjida Kay before but I'm already impressed by her writing. She moves from scene to scene with great assurance bringing character after character to life but also, somehow, provides a different emotional atmosphere for each vignette.
