I Liked It
Stella thinks her mother is hiding something. Emma is in fear of being discovered. Lizzie is struggling to keep her family fed.
I did enjoy it!
I was so proud of myself, because I worked out every twist that was coming before it happened. However, this may not be such a good thing as I wasn't left guessing or shocked from a revelation (apart from one right at the end).
The story gripped me, and I kept wanting to know more.
I enjoyed the concept and the three different POVs as it showed the events from different perspectives and how it affected each person.
There was a bit of icky-ness because there was some adultery sprinkled throughout that makes me quite uncomfortable alongside a realisation which is also icky.
I found it slightly underwhelming as I worked out the twists prior to them being revealed, and I am terrible at guessing endings/working out plot points.
