I could have never believed that a story would draw me in so much. after what I deemed a slow start the story really kicks in. such good writing and strong characters. i could not put the book down. the story is really believable and well told.
The basic story is of a mother who holds a deep secret from her family and desperate to hold the family together. I do not want to give much away but all i will say you must read this exceptionally well written book.
i feel the overview on the back of the book does not do the story the justice it deserves and could possibly be overlooked on the bookshelves.
