It's unusual that a book grips me from the first few pages, but with the opening paragraphs talking about how the protagonist is so very angry at Becky, you can tell that what follows will be a narrative full of high emotion. I want to hear more about Becky's back story and just what lead to her disappearance. This book is mysterious from the synopsis, and the first few chapters only adds to that. Sure to be a compelling read!
