*I received a copy of this book for free from Readers First in exchange for an honest review.

Let me start of by saying the cover and illustrations match this book perfectly, the book comes covered with a moleskin style design, with metallic writing on the front. The illustrations within the novel are beautiful, and I feel really blend with the story, for the illustrations I must direct praise to Nat Barlex.
And now on to the story itself, it did take me a few chapters to get into, however once I got into the book I couldn’t put it down. I finished it within a few days, and I was tempted to neglect my studying just to finish it sooner.
The plot intrigued me and kept me wanting more right up to the last page. Science fiction may not be my go to genre for books but this one has made me a lot more likely to head towards that genre in future. I’m not going to lie it scared me a little at some parts, but I found this just added to the reading experience.
It is presented from multiple points of views, but I still found it flowed nicely between perspectives. Some characters were given more depth in the sense that I felt I got to know some characters more than others, but for me this didn’t detract from the book as a whole.
Overall this book was excellent, I enjoyed the feeling of being sucked into a story and not wanting to stop reading. It’s perfect for those who enjoy science fiction with a bit of romance.
