Jazmin tells her side of the diamond with chapters from other people who are involved in the story being added in once it really gets going. Becky, Jasmins best friend jumps off a building and simply disappeared, the same thing happened to teen lovers almost twenty years before and the reader gradually finds out why.
This was quite a strange little tale really and perhaps if it was told by another author I wouldn’t have enjoyed it so much but Sally Gardner is clearly an excellent writer. I will definitely be seeking out her other books now that’s for sure.
