I was happily anticipating a great read with this book. The plot seemed exciting and had great promise. However, I found it was extremely slow paced. This has come as a huge surprise as other reviews have remarked how fast paced the story was!
It might be that one would be better to read the authors first two books first this being the third in a series.
Strangely, it was a book I found hard to pick up and easy to put down. It failed to grab me from the start and it proved frustrating as it should have given more.
However, I am willing to give this book a second try though and have put it at the bottom of my pile of books ‘yet to read’ and hope that a second try will prove to be more successful.
