To be honest, I'd never heard of this author but now I am such a big fan and will most certainly be going on to read more books! I also understood the book perfectly without having to read the other books in the series which, to me, has always been a good sign of amazing writing.
This book had me gripped from the start - it may be cliche but I really couldn't stop turning the page, I actually couldn't put it down!
For me, the pace was the most incredible thing about the book, it was just right especially considering there is always so much action going on. I really loved every moment as every page was exciting - truly no dull moments that you think are unnecessary which is big props to the author and editors of this book. It was an exceptional read!
