I’ve never read anything by this author before and now that I have read this one I will be looking forward to reading another one. The story starts quick paced and immediately introduces you to the wide range of characters. I love how all of the characters’s stories intermingle with each other effortlessly. The characters of Tom and Lydia (surprisingly the names of my friends who are a couple) are interesting and grip your interest the whole way through. I love History books and this one makes the Civil war all the more interesting with lots of different settings along the way. If you like thriller stories then this is one that I would absolutely recommend and therefore giving it four stars
