This is an excellent book, the third in the series and in my mind the best one.
It grabs you from the start and you just want to keep on reading as the story moves so fast you just have to keep grabbing on and on.
The characters as normal are well rounded and imaginative, the story is set in the summer of 1939 with the shadow of the war hanging over the country and no one knowing what time will bring about. The places feel familiar which is nice as feels like a homecoming.
With it being about a spy there is obviously going to be a lot going on and different threads to follow but it is written so well that that isn’t difficult.
If you have read the first two books you will be more familiar with it but it really doesn’t matter as stands out on it’s own.
