The bright pink cover with bold text saying SHAME repeatedly grabbed my attention and then the No written over it really stood out to me as the main character fighting back against what they should/or do feel.
Reading the synopsis and I'm gripped, as somebody who has suffered sexual assault but never had the bravery to seek justice I am intrigued to see how the author covers the subject and the recovery. It is all too easy to victim blame but I really think this book is different and shows how people come out from the other side and I would love to read that and see the title character get peace and maybe get some peace of my own.
