I was struck first by the powerful striking cover, although the pink does seem to suggest that it is a book designed for women when perhaps it should be equally meant for men.
I found the character voice believable and easy to follow, with a good level of imagery to support it.
I enjoyed reading the excerpt and am interested in finding out what unfolds and how this author approaches this tricky sensitive but definitely in need of exposure subject.
I have never read this author but enjoying her style of writing will definitely be seeking out her other titles.
