I've not read anything by Anne Cassidy before, maybe because it's more YA than my age range. From the first page I was gripped and extremely emotional. You really couldn't help get emotionally attached to Stacey.
Anne's way of writing is just superb. You loved a lot of characters and obviously got angry at a few. The book felt so true and you thought of people who have been in this position in their life. I welled up a few times, you couldn't help it. Near the end of the book I was worried how it would end, but you felt so relieved and happy by the end.
The book isn't very long at long, just over 200 pages so didn't take too long. The book was very YA but I enjoyed it a lot and Anne is a brilliant author.
