I wasn't too sure what to expect from this book having never read any of the other books within this series before. However I was pleasantly surprised! This is a very harrowing book, very emotional and really takes on a journey with the main character. It gives a much needed insight into what it is like as a person on end of a crime, and the impact that it has upon them. It did make me very emotional in places, and doesn't have the ending that you want. However that makes this book that little bit more realistic in comparison with real life and what happens to victims. Would definitely recommend this book to others and make sure that they have tissues at the ready, this is definitely one that will stay with you.
