This story concludes Stacey's emotional, moving story as she deals the trial as she testifies against the man who raped her. This is just as raw and eye-opening as the last book.
Really does make you feel empathy for the character as the author has written the book beautifully. It's hard to read in places as Stacey expresses her emotions on liking Harry and feeling like he liked her - which I think every girl feels that way in their teens; and also going through a stage of feeling like she isn't gonna be believed. Tugs at my heart really that not being believed in the main reason why girls dont come forward after being raped. Because of this, rapists get away with it. Makes me sad and angry.
Such a sensitive issue to read about but it does make you think twice about the decisions you make and making sure you're safe. Worth a read for every girl.
