The subject of this book is quite a difficult thing to read about. I found it very heart felt and touching. You can really relate to the character without having to have been through the situation yourself. I could feel every emotion that she did. It helps you to understand how other women that have been in that position may feel. I loved how you had several characters that had been through the same thing but felt different ways about it. I.e one had a child that they wanted to protect from the truth, another was just too scared to come forward. I admired the characters strength. I felt as if I was there with her during the trial, and could feel every emotion that she felt as it went on. I even had my own feelings towards the verdicts and found myself on the edge of my seat for most of the book. A truly wonderful piece of writing.
