The main colour of the cover is a sunny surprise but the swastica symbol, laurel wreath and imposing monumental architecture locate us firmly in the Third Reich.

The blurb promises ground-breaking discoveries in physics, real historical characters, danger and espionage. This could be breath-taking!

I like the calm methodical scene-setting in the opening chapter. But then we move to another country and a different cast of characters. And again. And again. And these characters mention many others by name. I fear I won't be able to keep up.
