I've had this book for more than a week now, and I've been trying so hard to actually read it, but it's just not working for me at all. I find the content dry and unappealing, and my mind just drifts every time I look at the page. This is coming from someone who will read anything and everything. I am a fan of historical fiction, but there was something about this book that just made it impossible for me to enjoy.
I may be giving undue criticism here, as I have not read Corpus, the prequel to this book. It may just be a case of needing to read that first to truly appreciate Nucleus, as the reader would already be familiar with the writing style and characters (if recurring).
I have decided to put this book down only a few chapters in, but if I can source a copy of Corpus and read it, I will definitely attempt it again.
