This book is of the genre that I don't usually go for but it is fair to say that I was surprised by my liking for this book.

I only rated this book 3 stars because it is one of my first of the genre so I didn't know how to rate it with fairness but I did enjoy the plot of a Cambridge professor who is trying to work out the connections between 3 things, a dead scientist, a Jewish boy who is missing as well as a race for a nuclear IRA bomber. They don't seem like three things that could ever be connected - except for maybe the scientist and the bomb at a push - but Clement executed his work well.

The scenes in this story chopped and changed quite fast which made it somewhat harder to follow than if it was told slower and with more detail.
