A holiday romance in the city of love? Sounds perfect. But Milly is having none of it. Accompanied by her mum and two sisters she's experiencing major grief after losing her dad not too long ago and since then her life has been on hold. Annoyingly her love interest is someone she already has a connection with so this book is set up more about them reconnecting and Milly refusing to accept the possibility of love, but it's sweet nonetheless. The preview showed off an amazing character dynamic, with the sisters especially having personalities I think will shine throughout the book. Milly herself seems rather intriguing, if not simply how she deals with her sadness as she gets swept up in her aunties wedding. The writing is written beautifully and paints a gorgeous picture of Rome. So far I imagine this to be a lovely young adult summer read.
