i love this book! its full of surprises. the style of the writing is exactly what i expect when reading a book. it is set out so unique yet relatable. it has a bit of every genre i can think of! i cant get enough of this book. it made me feel so drawn into it. it is like a fairy tale but with a twist of reality. this book is very hard to describe in one word as it is a mixture of everything. the beginning of the story is witty,clever but very questioning, as to wonder why dip your finger into your father? (but it is later explained). however the ending is just breath taking, as the girls set out to italy with their mother only as their father died and carry their sorrow and pain with them all throughout the journey through italy.
