This story focus on three sisters - Leoni, Millie and Leoni as they take a trip to Italy to see their aunt get married.
This should be a time where they are excited especially due to them visiting Italy with the prospect of romance and a bit of sun, however after losing their father suddenly their trip has a hinge of sadness and grief.
This novel showed a lovely bond between sisters even through heartache, and the ups and downs they are always there for each other.
I have to say that this is not your typically summer reading, it is not over mushy or slushy and does not end how you would expect normal summer reads to end.
The setting in Italy is lovely and you can see yourself sitting at a restaurant in the streets of Italy having freshly made pizzas.
