The story starts several months after the girls have lost their father. Each one has a pot of his ashes and unresolved issues. Without being heavy to read this looks at a family dealing with grief through their return to a familiar holiday destination.
I swallowed this book up in one afternoon and would thoroughly recommend it for a beach read with depth. Time to find more by Stainton, an author I'd never heard of and now know I need to encounter again.
