One Italian Summer' was okay it was giving me 'Monte Carlo' vibes (great best friends travel movie) and I loved that all the main characters were sisters, but I don't think it hit the right emotional tone. Milly is struggling to move on from her father's recent death and that's stopping her from living her life, but whenever Luke is on the scene she just wants to touch him which wasn't a very good plot.in my opinion they need to connect and communicate more without the need for affection.
I loved that they were all sisters but this just added to the unnecessary tension in this novel. I love this author though and really hope that this was just a one off. It was a quickish read but at times un-put-downable!!!!
I did like it but I don't think I would reread it again as the plot was confusing and not my sort of book but would give it 3 stars out of 5 for the way it is written!
